This California Privacy Notice (the "Privacy Notice" or "Notice") provides information to California residents about how Marketplace Hubs Insurance Agency LLC and its affiliated companies ("we," "us," "our") collect, use, and disclose personal information. For more details about our privacy practices, please see our Privacy Policy. Neither this Notice nor the Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect from job applicants, employees, or independent contractors.
1. Information We Collect From California Residents
We may collect information that personally identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with you ("Personal Information"), including:
- Identifiers and contact information such as name, address, email address, phone number.
- Protected classification characteristics such as age, marital status, gender, and veteran or military status.
- Health information such as a medical condition or coverage need related to your request.

- Inferences drawn from any of the above to create a profile reflecting your preferences and characteristics.
Some of the Personal Information listed above may be considered Sensitive Personal Information under California law.
2. Sources of Personal Information
- Directly from you when you complete a quote or contact form, call us, or otherwise interact with us.
- Automatically from your device through cookies, pixels, session-replay tools, and other tracking technologies.
- From our service providers, advertising and analytics partners, and data providers.
- From publicly available sources.
3. Business Purposes for Collecting Personal Information
- To match your inquiry with licensed agents and insurance carriers in our marketing partner network.
- To respond to your requests and provide quotes and customer service.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services.
- For marketing and advertising, including retargeting and lookalike audiences.
- For analytics, research, fraud prevention, and to comply with applicable law.
4. Categories of Recipients
We disclose each of the categories of Personal Information listed above to: (i) our marketing partners (insurance carriers, agencies, and lead buyers); (ii) our service providers (hosting, analytics, customer support, communications, marketing platforms); (iii) advertising and analytics partners; and (iv) government, regulators, and other parties as required or permitted by law. We may also disclose Personal Information as part of a business transaction such as a merger or asset sale.
5. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
Under California law, "sale" and "sharing" are defined broadly and may include disclosures of Personal Information to marketing partners and to advertising or analytics partners in exchange for valuable consideration. In the preceding 12 months we have sold or shared identifiers, contact information, protected classification characteristics, commercial information, internet and network information, and inferences with marketing partners and advertising partners for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising and lead generation. We do not knowingly sell or share Personal Information of consumers under 16 years of age.
6. Sensitive Personal Information
We use Sensitive Personal Information only for the purposes permitted by California law, including to provide the services you request, to ensure security and integrity, to detect and respond to malicious or illegal activity, and for short-term, transient use. You may request that we limit our use of Sensitive Personal Information as described below.
7. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you.
- Request that we delete Personal Information we have collected from you.
- Request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information.
- Limit the use and disclosure of your Sensitive Personal Information.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
You may exercise your rights by completing our Privacy Request Form or by emailing privacy@marketplacehubs.com. We will verify your identity before responding. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
8. Retention
We retain Personal Information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.
